Every journey begins with a first step and 'Start Thinking' is the first step. It's what we call the foundation workshop as it delivers all the necessary preliminary elements required before learners can begin the application of Whole Brain® thinking methodology.
The workshop format varies depending on client needs but generally consists of the following key elements:
- An introduction to the Whole Brain® Model
- An introduction to the concept of 'Thinking Preference'
- Exploring each participant's individual thinking preferences (via the HBDI which is debriefed in this workshop)
- An introduction to the Whole Brain® framework in action – some light application
At the conclusion of Start Thinking participants will understand what Whole Brain® Thinking methodology is, recognise the four types of thinking, understand their own thinking preferences (and consequences) and have an idea of how to apply this knowledge to real life situations.
Even if you go no further than the Start Thinking workshop, participants will gain invaluable insights and will almost certainly experience what we refer to as the 'a-ha moment' in which something about who they are or how they think 'clicks'!
Of course most organisations, after seeing the results of Start Thinking, want to move to the next stage which is the application of Whole Brain® Thinking methodology to key areas such as communication, teams and decision making etc.
