What does Team Profiling tell us?
The HBDI® Team Profile report clearly highlights areas of improvement – specifically in communication, training and processes – and identifies potential challenges that could interfere with your team's success.
The results of the team profile are presented in a full colour report package that is reviewed and incorporated into facilitated exercises during the workshop.
Used as a catalyst for better team alignment, collaboration and productivity, HBDI Team Profiling leverages collective thinking for a complete return on intelligence – with amazing results.
By analysing and preparing a composite of Individual Profiles, the Team Profile gives a complete view of the similarities and differences in each team member's thinking style.
Why use HBDI Team Profiling?
The way your team thinks – collectively and as individuals – has a profound effect on performance: from the quality of decisions, to problem solving ability, to harmony within the team itself.
Team Profiling creates highly cohesive and motivated groups of people who can maximise their own unique contribution – while appreciating and encouraging the contributions of others.
By giving your group an immediate understanding of the strengths available to it, HBDI Team Profiling leverages your team's skills and talents, and also:
- Enables alignment between the way the team thinks, and the tasks assigned to it.
- Gives teams the tools to become accountable for their own productivity.
- Reduces the stress and conflict that impedes group interactions.
- Facilitates better, faster decisions and outcomes from every team engagement.
Did you know? Research proves that teams of like minded thinkers perform less well than teams of diverse thinkers – unless they are aware of – and know how to manage – their like mindedness. Team Profiling gives teams the knowledge and information to do just that.
Who will benefit from Team Profiling?
Whether you're working with an existing team, adding new members or creating whole new teams, the HBDI Team Profile helps leverages the group's cognitive diversity – and maintain the speed and productivity necessary for success in today's business world.
The HBDI Team Profile provides an opportunity to reinforce the importance of Whole Brain® Thinking methodology – and is a powerful management tool that is ideal for:
- Senior management teams
- High performing teams
- Critical project teams
- Product development teams
- Small business departments
- Executive teams
In addition, many teams use the HBDI Team Profile reports as the framework of a process for making better team decisions. Managers also benefit from being able to determine the appropriate management styles and motivation techniques to use with various members of the team.
How do we complete an HBDI Team Profile?
Before completing a HBDI Team Profile all individual team members must first complete their HBDI Individual Profiles. Once they have received their profile debriefs they may explore their Team Profile in a facilitated session with a Herrmann Certified Practitioner.
